# All hands on deck

People are dancing while America crashes into an iceberg.  
  
I'm very concerned because so many of us seem oblivious to the danger. Magical thinking will not save us. We can no longer hide below deck. We have to find the courage to acknowledge the threat and take it on.  
  
That's why this blog exists – to challenge bias, entertain curiosity, and raise awareness. If we think of facts as dots, my mission is to connect those dots and draw out unique observations without parroting others.

Most importantly, I do not hope to convince anyone of anything. It doesn't matter where you are on the political spectrum. I'll just point things out and provide links to support what I'm saying then you can make your own judgments.  
  
If you want to [subscribe](#/portal/) I'll let you know when I post new stuff. Don't worry, I can't sell your info because I don't know how. I tried to sell mine and they returned it.

In the meantime, this isn't getting any procrastinating done.
